I wanted to share with you a post that I have found regarding a court ruling against Microsoft for patent infrigement with XML support in their Word Office 2007 product. The article summarize the results from the court ruling which forced Microsoft to either remove the xml support or stop selling their Word Office 2007 product and the company is required to pay a $290 million dollar fine.
